Q: Who is the developer?

The developer of The Plantation at Leesburg was Lakewood Development Company, LLC, as the general operating partner and was presented the Award of Merit for Planning and Growth Management for The Plantation by the East Central Florida Regional Planning Council. The various commumities have been developed as master planned communities in harmony with nature. Pringle Homes and DR Horton are other developers in the area.
